I always look forward to an annual session with my friend, Devon. She has attended the Miss Ohio competition for the past few years, and I have had the honor of photographing the head shots; which I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to each year! On this particular day, we had the dreariest rainy day to deal with, but we made the best of it and I was pleased with the results! I mean, how can you go wrong photographing barbie, the model?! ;o)

Devon has graduated from the University of Cincinnati recently, and she is ready to take on the job world! Devy, you are beautiful inside and out, have a wonderful personality, and, are such a caring and loving person. I am so glad to have you in my life. Love you! Muaaaahhhh! xoxo! P.S. Let’s just go ahead and keep this yearly tradition up. I love having my own personal model!

Jess and Jason’s wedding took place on Jess’s grandfather’s homestead. It was a stunning setting as the sun fell over the ceremony setting on a late afternoon October day. One thing that couple’s are afraid of is getting married in full sun. If the timing is right and everything is planned accordingly to where the sun will be hitting, you won’t be sorry you made the choice. It made for some very dramatic images, backlit and sunlit. Just beautiful. It was a pleasure to shoot.

Another factor that stood out to me as I was shooting this fall wedding was Jason’s love for Jess. He looked at her in a way that was very emotional to capture. As you scroll through, I think you will see what I mean. ;0)

Included in the session was, Kaden, a Newfoundland that Chass and Bryan took in. He’s a very gentle, sweet and loving dog! Cute little family! Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Alex is the type of person that can make absolutely anyone laugh, and Erin, well, when she laughs in the movie theater.. everyone turns around to look! Together, they are such a fun and loving couple. You can see how Alex’s personality gives Erin the giggles. I love it!

And, this is Mayble! Their big baby! But, in a short 10 WEEKS they will be expecting a baby baby. Maddox! Eeeeeeeeek! It’s been a hard road to get to where they are at with expecting a baby, but God is good, and he’s giving them everything they’ve ever wished for! And, I couldn’t be more happy and excited for them. The next 10 weeks can’t go quickly enough!

This full head of hair, beautiful little baby boy happens to be my Godson, Tripp Wade. He finally made his arrival on October 22nd of this year. (I was getting a little impatient for his debut.) He is absolutely perfect, and, of course, my favorite feature is his full head of dark hair! When I arrived to the hospital to meet Tripp he was in the nursery getting his hair washed. It was one of the neatest moments I’ve ever been a part of; to see a brand new life, so innocent and precious. I know how emotional I was seeing Tripp for the first time, I can’t imagine how Chassity and Bryan felt!

It’s hard to believe he’s a little over a month old already! Chassity says he’s smiling more and more every day! And, I LOVE getting new picture texts from time to time.

While I was visiting, I, of course, had to snap a few images. Enjoy!

With the development of the brand new site, I’ve been a bit slack on blogging. I’m proud to have baby Tinley as the first appearance on the brand new blog! This little girl is now pushing 8 months, so it’s well over time to get you all caught up on her! I met Deidre right around a year ago, through a friend. She is a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness in Decatur, Indiana. My friend suggested that I come to her boot camp class with her, and I ended up training with Deidre 2 times a week. It didn’t take long to find out that we should really know each other as our grandparents eat at the corner in Willshire almost every day. Funny how our paths never crossed sooner.  I am very thankful to have Deidre in my life. She has helped me to make the changes in my life that I’ve needed for a long time; a healthier lifestyle. Not to mention, we’ve become great friends! When she asked me to do her maternity images and Tinley’s newborn images, I was thrilled. She is one of the best babies I have ever worked with. I’ve had the privilege of shooting her 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month pictures since this session. On to Tinley..
